2013 Resolution

So, since i couldn't finish fulfilling all the resolution or goals i set last year, this year i'm going to set less, and they focus more on being a better me, and also a person who will still be happy without pleasing others. why i said that? i realized i have been pleasing others a lot all these years and i don't even know what i want after crying and quarreling and hating others for treating me badly. i'm very jealous that others could live so happily, but why not me?? searching answers everywhere everyday and from the examples i get around me, i know i didn't treat myself enough. so, it's time to love myself, put my needs to priority, and get to know myself more!

in 2013, i want to...
1. Find my passion and talent
2. Stay focus
3. Control anger and emotions
4. Learn how to sing properly (i really love singing, keeps me high!)
5. Watch sunrise at the beach
6. Read more self-help materials
7. Save money and do some investments
8. Do what I love, and don't do what i don't love
9. Stay classy and sassy
10. Act like a lady, think like a man
11. Talk less, listen more
12. When people walk away from you, let them go
13. Be happy, dance more!

not going to simply get anything for myself anymore and i think it's good to improve myself everyday. how had your first day of 2012 been? i hope it's a good year to you! gotta go sleep now as i still need to continue clearing old things. yes yes THROW ALL THE OLD THINGS and let the new ones in! :) Good night!

xoxo

Six Degrees of Separation maybe?

i've been moody these few days. no, these few weeks should be, since before my birthday. and i don't really know why. felt like i have something in my heart indescribable, something i wish to get, or solve, or find, I JUST DON'T KNOW. it's really hard to know the answer, like some sort of finding my soul bleerhhh don't know... or maybe i don't have enough chocolates lately? it's annoying to be in this state. can't move forward, can't move backward too... bet some people had experienced this feeling before, or maybe just me?

well, i came across this song today. it's from The Script. love this band because of the style they sing. well this song is a bit special. i don't usually check out a person/band's new song right after they released a news about their new songs, but this time, i just did. so i checked out the song, it is named "Six Degrees of Separation"  and it goes like the lyric below

You've read the books,
You've watched the shows,
What's the best way no one knows, yeah,
Meditate, get hypnotized.
Anything to take from your mind.
But it won't go

You're doing all these things out of desperation,
Ohhh woah,
You're going through six degrees of separation.

You hit the drink, you take a toll
Watch the past go up in smoke.
Fake a smile, yeah, lie and say that,
I'm better now than ever, and your life's okay
Well it's not. No
You're doing all these things out of desperation,
Ohhh woah,
You're going through six degrees of separation.

First, you think the worst is a broken heart
What's gonna kill you is the second part
And the third, is when your world splits down the middle
And fourth, you're gonna think that you fixed yourself
Fifth, you see them out with someone else
And the sixth, is when you admit that you may have messed up a little.

(No, no, there ain't no help, it's every man for himself)

You tell your friends, yeah, strangers too,
Anyone'll throw an arm around you, yeah
Tarot cards
Gems and stones,
Believing all that shit is gonna heal your soul.
We'll it's not, no

You're only doing things out of desperation,
Ohhh woah,
You're goin' through six degrees of separation.

First, you think the worst is a broken heart
What's gonna kill you is the second part
And the third, Is when your world splits down the middle
And fourth, you're gonna think that you fixed yourself
Fifth, you see them out with someone else
And the sixth, is when you admit that you may have messed up a little.

No there's no starting over,
Without finding closure,
You'd take them back,
No hesitation,
That's when you know you've reached the sixth degree of separation

No there's no starting over,
Without finding closure,
You'd take them back,
No hesitation,
That's when you know you've reached the sixth Degree of separation

First, you think the worst is a broken heart
What's gonna kill you is the second part
And the third, Is when your world splits down the middle
And fourth, you're gonna think that you fixed yourself
Fifth, you see them out with someone else
And the sixth, is when you admit that you may have messed up a little.

i don't know why, i feel like the lyrics are talking to me. maybe i do feel sad and pain and emotional all the time because i'm going through the six degree of separation? maybe i'm really doing things out of desperation? that's why i'm demanding something else from other people all the time? maybe it's a sign that i should not be desperate in many things in my life? especially in all my relationships? i saw this in Twitter yesterday, "If you aren't happy being single you will never be happy in a relationship. Get you own life and love it first, then share it." probably desperation is the root of all my problems. maybe i should just let go of certain things, bit by bit...

Better Together

i was bored, so i saw many people tweeting about this girl named Neelofa... don't really know who is she so i checked it on google. i went to her website, and i heard this song! it's a really nice song from Jack Johnson, the singer for Good People... haa this just made my day sweeter, as i already felt so happy that my favorite badminton player Dato' Lee Chong Wei is married! he looked so handsome and his wife Wong Mew Choo too, prettyyyyyyy! wish i am at their wedding now! HAPPY MARRIAGE LCW and WMC!

祝你们百年好合,白头谐老!

let's listen to this song until we sleep tonight! :)

"Better Together"
There's no combination of words
I could put on the back of a postcard
No song that I could sing
But I can try for your heart,
our dreams, and they are made out of real things
like a shoebox of photographs
with sepia-toned loving
Love is the answer
at least for most of the questions in my heart, like
Why are we here? And where do we go?
And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy and
sometimes life can be deceiving
I'll tell you one thing, it's always better when we're together

Mmmm, It's always better when we're together
Yeah we'll look at the stars and we're together
Well, it's always better when we're together
Yeah it's always better when we're together

And all of these moments
just might find their way into my dreams tonight,
But I know that theyll be gone
when the morning light sings
and brings new things
for tomorrow night you see
that theyll be gone too,
too many things I have to do
But if all of these dreams might find their way
into my day to day scene
I'd be under the impression
i was somewhere in between
With only two,
Just me and you,
Not so many things we got to do
or places we got to be
We'll sit beneath the mango tree, now,

Yeah It's always better when we're together
Mmmm, we're somewhere in between together
Well, it's always better when we're together
Yeah, it's always better when we're together

mmmmmmm

I believe in memories
they look so, so pretty when I sleep
Hey now, and when I wake up,
you look so pretty sleeping next to me
But there is not enough time,
There is no, no song I could sing
and there is no combination of words I could say
but I will still tell you one thing
We're Better together

Jason Mraz Concert 19 June 2012

few days ago, i just went to Jason Mraz' concert, and i felt sooooooo excited about it. it's because this is the first time i bought a ticket for myself to watch an internationally well known singer's concert!
at the reception

i had been so excited and i even went to Bangsar just to change the ticket earlier. but after that, i was lucky enough to get 2 VVIP tickets from my aunt so i sold off my free seating tickets to my friends. so proud to be so near to the stage. he's right there, just less than 10 meters in front of me :)

yay i got my VVIP tickets with me :D
i went there early, with my brother, Adeline, and her cousin. i bought his latest album for my youngest brother, coz he said he couldn't come to the concert as he's in Kuantan. so after the dinner by the road side, we all went in to the stadium (Stadium Merdeka).

not really many people came, probably because of low publicity. but because of that, everyone had a comfortable seat. at least the cheapest ticket won't have to sit too far from the stage now. it started with the opening song by Awi Rafael, a local singer-songwriter. and then Jason's turn was around 8.30pm. when he and his crews were preparing the stage, all fans were already shouting and screaming his name (including me hehehe). WOW!

so he started with the first song - Everything is Sound. it was lively. i saw many couples there, middle-age, and i was thinking how good is it if i also have a boyfriend to come with me that time. haha. and then, i'm not sure whether at the 2nd or 3rd song, he said something. and everyone start swarming to the front, more and more. so not many people is in their seats anymore. Jason started teaching us some moves, like dancing to the song! it's like a relaxation move, really interesting, and made me enjoy the show more!

Jason was asking all of us to dance with him
but suddenly, the guards came, and make us go back to our seats. it's really sad coz we were all there to enjoy the concert in front of the stage. after the guards left, a bunch of fans swarmed to the front again, followed by all of us. and it lasted till the end of show. shouting and dancing while he's singing is really really cool! i like the feeling. it's like you're at a mini lounge in an island you can do whatever you want. but what makes me funny was a pair of old couple, not really old, probably around 50 sitting there feeling bored. my goodness, everyone was like falling in love and they're giving the poker face =,=. hahaha. wasted the ticket la!

his crew
Jason was really good when he performed live, and i like it more during live than the album itself. more soulful, something i would like to describe as. feel like i'm in love with the moment, i really feel like crying that time coz i was so touched! overall i really enjoyed the concert and i'm so blessed to hear him singing live!!!! i hope he will be performing in Msia again next year!

Last Day of 2011

let me count, it is 5 hours to midnight, and today is the last day of year 2011... wow that is really fast. i feel like everything just happened yesterday. okay, so it is time for new year again! new wishes, new goals, and new person, maybe? hehe.. i think i have grew up a lot in this 1 year, and of course i have learnt a lot by living alone too.. still single brrrr.... to those that i had treated them badly this year without reason, i'm sorry for my wrongdoing. i hope you'll forgive me :) and to those that i knew this year, welcome to my world. to those that have been my friends from last time, thank you for still be my lovely friends, love you people! to those that trying to do bad for me, someday you'll get your karma, no worries. hmm, from time to time, i'll sound a bit snobbish, or even annoying, so sorry for that. and sometimes, i get too excited or too moody, thank you for sharing those times with me. err, what else to say? i think that's all for this post, here's a little new year's eve song, a very sweet one, enjoy!! oh ya, and enjoy your 2012 too!! =)

oh ya and to those who want to propose to their partners, maybe this video will help you? just saw it few days ago, it is so sweeeeeeet!

Churches' Pre-Christmas Celebrations

i just saw this video few days ago. i like it very much. these girls have very nice voice and the song sounds just as sweeeeet as them :) of course! they're Jayesslee.

i'm a BIG fan of Jayesslee hehehe...

ok so, Christmas trees, sales, and songs are up everywhere. some churches have been doing events to celebrate it earlier. yesterday morning, i went to the City Harvest Church KL with Ginny, Angela, and Adeline to watch their Christmas production. i don't really know what is that, but i guessed it's a drama kind of thing since Angela acted in a drama in her church last year. it is called CHROMEHEART. after all the singing and praising parts, it's finally the time for the "production"! haha vampires swarmed in the place from everywhere, and they started giving out annoying sounds. soldiers holding their bows and arrows preparing to shoot them. villagers were dancing and singing in the drama. there are still soooo many characters in the drama but most importantly, it was just because of the stone that gives forever life to anyone that has it. the drama was really good, and out of my expectation! i was quite interested with their behind-the-scenes, so i pre-ordered their DVD.

photo taken from the City Harvest Church KL Facebook page. these are the casts.

after that, we went to Taylor's Lakeside Campus to have lunch.
oh ya, i was supposed to help my cousin out with the last batch of Gingerbread man baking. but, she finished it early, so finally!!!! the shop is closed now. i could only say, the baking process is really tiring. not even sure whether we are getting profit but hopefully everyone that buys it from us like it and buy again next year.

ok back to church. after lunch, Ginny said she wanted to donate blood. and Adeline donated too. but her veins was too small so the nurses stop her from donating that day anymore coz her arm was swollen. unlike Ginny, her blood filled up the whole packet in just 15mins!!! my gosh!! that's like water flowing. then, i drove them back coz they were tired.

the left 1 is Adeline - the birthday girl as well
the right 1 is Ginny - the girl that wanted to donate blood for the 1st time so badly hehehe

it's nearly 5 p.m. and i promised my cousin to go to another church's event with her. the event is called "NowIsee". they were all so excited on the buses but i'm already a bit tired. we have to sing too in the bus. and introduce ourselves. but i was just too tired. it was held in New Era College in Kajang. they had a lot of dances, songs, drama, fashion show, and gifts to give out. my cousin get 1 extra gift for answering their question correctly :) i was really tired, so i couldn't enjoy much of the show. plus, sometimes i don't really understand coz my mandarin is not very good. it's a mandarin-speaking event. the event finished around 11p.m. and we reached Kota Damansara about 12 midnight. when i went home, i just had some hot drinks and slept until today's noon. but overall, the 2 events i went makes me happy and WHHOOAAA although i'm tired.

sing songs to praise the god. can you see Daniel Lee the 2nd Malaysian idol playing the guitar?

haha, and i saw this when i was standing up.

so, that's all for the Pre-Christmas Celebrations! God Bless!
