Review: The Power by Rhonda Byrne

I've been searching for a book that can make me feel content, happy, and has guidance to a better me. My friend gave me this book two years ago as my Christmas present. Didn't get to read it until lately, coz I was searching for a motivational book. The bookstores had recommended this book and many people had said that it's a good book, so I gave it a try.

When i first read it, I felt that it is somehow different from other materials that you can see online, books or any references that teach you to be happy. Most of them will ask you to find a talent, hang out with friends, don't stay bored, bla bla bla... this book has taught me a very different perspective since the first chapter already! I wanted happiness, I don't want to stay moody, get angry for no reason and feeling lifeless and bored. This book has taught me to LIST and LOVE everything that I like, even the qualities of people that i like! and you must really feel LOVE for that. after that, keep feeling the frequency and leave those things and people that make you produce bad feeling far far away. what it means by far far away is that you give no feeling towards it, not hatred, jealousy or anything - NOTHING. just remember, good things attract good things; and bad things attract bad things

i would recommend this book to my friends if they feel like reading a book concerning happiness. i think it doesn't only make you a better person, it also indirectly teaches you to love your body as good feelings need to come from good mind, good words, good deed, and of course, good body. to those who already read the book, keep applying what it teaches and have a good life, wait, a very very good life! :)

bye for now!
